The Sri Sammakka Saralamma Temple is located in Medaram village, Tadvai Mandal, Mulugu District, Telangana. It is one of the most revered tribal pilgrimage sites in India and is dedicated to the tribal goddesses Sammakka and her daughter Saralamma. The temple is especially famous for the Medaram Jathara, a biennial festival that attracts millions of devotees, making it one of the largest religious gatherings in the country after the Kumbh Mela.
