Bathukamma Festival
The 'Bathukamma' festival is celebrated in the state of Telangana for nine days starting from the new moon day of Bhadrapad month. This Bathukamma festival or Saddula festival falls two days before Dussehra. After the formation of the separate state of Telangana, Bathukamma has been celebrated as a state festival.
