Sammakka Saralamma Jatara, also known as Medaram Jatara, is a biennial tribal festival held in Medaram village, Mulugu district, Telangana, India. It honors the mother–daughter deities Sammakka and Saralamma, revered as warrior goddesses of the Koya tribe, and is considered Asia’s largest tribal congregation and India’s second-largest religious gathering after the Kumbh Mela.
